Akshay Kumar is an Indian film actor,producer and stunt man. He known khiladi Kumar in film industry because he acted 8 movies with named khiladi. He is a fearless and bold actor . He was born as Rajiv Bhatia on 9th September 1967 in Amritsar, Punjab. His father Hariom Bhatia was a military officer and his mother Aruna Bhatia is a homemaker. He lived in Delhi in his early age. He spend his childhood at Chandni chowk Delhi and later he moved to Mumbai. Where he lived in Koliwada. Akshay Kumar started his school education in Delhi. After he take admission in  school Don Base school and completed his secondary education. After that he take admission in Guru Nanak Khalsa
college for higher education. But dropped out after a year. After that Akshay Kumar went to Bangkok, Thailand to learn martial arts. Akshay worked in Bangkok as a chef and waiter for his expenses. He came back to Mumbai and started his own martial art school. One day his  student recommended him for modeling . He enjoyed modeling for a brief period assisted photographer Jayesh Seth. As a young man his first movie role was a martial art instructor in the movie Aaj in 1987. His first signed movie was Deedar but his first release was Saugandh. Saugandh released in 1991 and in the same year he acted in Dancer that not impressed audience. His third movie khiladi became hit. In 1993 he acted in five movies but all five movies not performing well commercially. In 1994 he acted 11th movies . Mohra and Main Khiladi Tu Anari were highest grossing movie of the year. He get his first nomination for best actor for the movie Yeh Dillagi. In 1997 he acted in Dil To Pagal Hai and get his first nomination for best supporting actor Filmfare award. After giving a number of flops his performance in Hera Pheri rocked audience. After Hera Pheri it was stated in media that a new Akshay Kumar is born. Same year his movie Dhadkan became success. Next year his movie Ajnbee became hit and he get his first best villain Filmfare award in 2002. He also get best performance in a negative role IIFA award for movie Ajnbee in 2002. After that Akshay Kumar gave many superhit movies as Andaaz, khakee, Mujse Shaadi Katowice,Garam Masala, Welcome, Housefull, Rowdy Rathore, Baby, Airlift, Rustom, Toilet Ek Prem Katha etc. Akshay Kumar started his first production Company is Hariom production in 2009 and second is Grazing Goat Pictures in 

2012. Akshay Kumar is a Black Belt in Taekwondo. Akshay Kumar doesn’t smoke and doesn’t drink 

alcohol. Akshay Kumar nickname is Akki. He hosted khatron ke khiladi season (1,2,3),Master chef India season (1) and Dare 2 Dance.
